The adaptation of the INPE-IN Model for the region of BR 163 (Cuiabá-Santarém) – (Leticia Viana Hissa)

PhD student at Humboldt University, Department of Geography, in Berlin, under the guidance of Prof. Tobia Lakes. Among the activities of her PhD (in progress) is the adaptation of the INPE-IN Model for the region of BR 163 (Cuiabá-Santarém). She developed a new component for estimating emissions from forest degradation by edge effect in the neighboring areas to the deforested areas.
