INPE-EM Framework

INPE-EM 4.0 presents a new Forest Degradation Component that allows the user to set a variable rate of regrowth over the years, allowing the adoption of regrowth curves that represent the process in a more realistic way, along the lines of 2nd Order emissions. This component refines the degradation component available in version 3.1, which was the first attempt to incorporate forest degradation emissions into the estimates of clear cut and secondary vegetation of INPE-EM.
